In the summer of May 2014 I interned at the Aspen Meadows Resort with a food and beverage internship. While here, I focused on many different areas of the hospitality industry. These tasks ranged from hostessing at the 5 star Plato's restaurant and booking reservations and making floor plans as well as bartending at Hefner's Lounge. I also worked within their main event venue, Doerr- Hoiser, setting up events ranging from 30 to 350 guests including weddings, the Aspen Ideas Festival, Homeland Security Forum, and the Fortune 500 Forum. I also helped with meetings and dinners throughout Aspen Meadows and the Aspen Institute's 44 acre campus.
